The Diabetic Profile will to make it easier to order the appropriate tests required to manage and monitor your diabetic patients. Resistance of pathogens to first-line drugs ranges from 0 to almost 100 percent, while in some instances resistance to second- and third-line agents is seriously compromising treatment outcome. The situation becomes much worse in developing countries such as Ethiopia, which have limited financial, physical, and human resources to cope with these problems. The infectious diseases mentioned are among the major causes of morbidity and mortality in Ethiopia. The government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, in collaboration with international partners, has been working to improve public access to essential medicines including antimicrobials; encouraging results are being obtained and the ability to manage infectious diseases has greatly improved because of the availability of these agents. However, with increased availability and use of antiretroviral ARV ; , antituberculosis, and antimalarial medicines, it is increasingly important to implement measures to try to preserve the effectiveness of these agents as well as those antimicrobials used for other common conditions in Ethiopia such as sexually transmitted infections STIs ; , pneumonia, baciliary dysentery, and meningitis. Although large-scale studies and documentation do not exist on the problem of AMR in Ethiopia, the available reports indicate that it is already a growing problem. Documented high levels of chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine resistance among Plasmodium falciparum strains is a clear example of the problem of AMR that necessitated the recent regimen change to artemisinin-based combination therapy.
